Wonderful place for childhood play things and to encourage their curiosity and inquisitive nature. The staff here are helpful and kind, children ❤️ love ❤️ them. Did I mention it's a great place to get toys and books for your kids?

While in town for my wife’s work, my son and I have been out exploring the city. We have never been much for buying tchotchkes as souvenirs, yet few things can bring back the memories of travel like a material thing found along the way. After visiting the gift shop at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and seeing the crummy toy offerings, I told my son we’d find a real toy store - and Child’s Play Toys & Books is definitely that! We were greeted and assisted by passionate toy aficionados - professional retailers. Take your time when you visit this store - there’s a ton to see. Now my son has a quality toy that will bring back memories of our DC trip. We also had a puzzle gift wrapped for free at the counter as a gift for my father-in-law for watching our animals - this was the perfect store for us today! (You know you’re dealing with a serious store when they have an entire shelf dedicated to the best board game ever made - Catan!)

This place is amazing, my son has been busy in an adventure of a lifetime. You may not have Toys R Us, (RIP) but you can bet the adventure awaits you here. The pictures is just a point of the mass of toys. There's parking in the back and the front. Food and Starbucks next door. The employees are Soo helpful with joy.

Lots of options. Shelves were sparse which is expected as it’s Christmas time. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have wrapping at the back of the store for purchases.

Wonderful toy store with an excellent selection. They have a range of European toys as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My child asked me not to mention, but they did have Pokémon in stock when we were there. There was a one Pokémon item limit per family - also a nice idea I think. Come visit them, I highly recommend them.
