A quaint little book store that caters to the fantasy aficianado. Great selection of books and other items. Cool selection of custom D&D dice! There's items for all ages. The owner is really friendly and knowledgeable. If you or someone you know is into fantasy, definitely check them out!

It's small, with mostly just fantasy and sci-fi, then a handful of big name/mass-market paperbacks for things like mystery/thriller. Sections for other genres are pretty limited especially literary fiction and nonfiction. Makes sense for a mall bookstore but left me disappointed. They do however have a shelf with releases from local authors which was cool (was just fantasy, particularly YA fantasy, when I went)

Great little store, JK Rowling is a weirdo but has absolutely nothing to do with this store. The person who left a 2 star just because of that, is equally sad and weird. This is a small business. I hope that person reads this and realizes their shortcomings in life, and decides to pick up and read a book as this store intends.

It’s a neat, author-run bookstore mainly with sci-fi and fantasy, and also some non-fiction books. I come to Philly for business trip. Found that it is the only bookstore close to my hotel. Came last night after dinner and chatted with the owner. He told me that it opened 3 years ago, there used to be 3 bookstores in this mall, but other 2 closed. The owner’s wife, Rebecca Minor, is a fantasy book author. I bought 2 books, both written by local authors, Think Again by Adam Grant and Real Philly History by Jim Murphy. Told my wife and she asked me to come back buy two more to support this bookstore. So came next day and told the story to the lady who was there (not owner’s wife). Got her suggestion and chose Curse Bearer for my kid and another book. I am also delighted to find The Three Boy Problem series by Cixin Liu. That’s the best sci-fi novel I’ve ever read. Hope to see more of Adam Grant’s books such as Hidden Potential and Give and Take. Will come visit again next time and hope it can open for a long time.

a wonderful little hole in the wall that has a small collection of books and dnd gear! cashier was nice and i spent a considerable amount of time pawing through the loose dice. however, in 2025 with trans rights being termed by lawmakers as "gender mutilation", with a significant amount of that funding being done by jk rowling (both in the uk and the us), i felt uncomfortable by the sheer amount of harry potter paraphernalia scattered about the store. i understand that the general public isn't really aware of this issue (i.e., that purchasing items that has her IP attached to it directly funds her efforts in legal discrimination) and so in a fantasy and sci-fi store it would of course be a loss in profit to not carry HP merchandise. however, whether the store owner intentionally supporting rowling in her public endeavors or not, i won't return to this store in the future or make any purchases that will inevitably go towards endangering my trans siblings. if the owner is reading this, i implore you to reconsider supporting her works in any way. it genuinely, actively hurts some of the most vulnerable members of our community to do so. i'm not trying to hold whether i return or not as a factor in why you should do this, only as a general plea, in lieu of those who need our protection desperately right now.
