Burnwater Books

Nice little (and I mean little) bookshop in the Low Mill ARTS complex. They have a small but very interesting variety of books. Don’t go if you are looking for mass market paperbacks. Go if you are into Hunter S Thompson and book along that lines. Realize the the Mills is only open certain hours.

I adore Burnwater and am grateful that my hometown now has such a unique indie bookstore. The selection is sophisticated and well-curated with special emphasis on literary fiction and poetry, yet there is still something for all readers. On my first visit I bought works by Rene Char and Osip Mandelstam- both hard to find in an average brick and mortar bookstore. I can't wait for my next visit to Huntsville so I can make a trip to Burnwater!

I found this store in Google maps and found it meandering through lowe mill. The selection is great for a variety of subjects (especially since they moved to their bigger space) and the service is fantastic. If they don't have the book you are looking for they will try to find it for you or tell you where you can get it. Great atmosphere and just a good feel for any book lover new and old.

Awesome little independent bookstore located in Lowe Mill with a really interesting curated selection! We always find something engaging to pick up when we stop in, highly recommended!
