This is an awesome place. My smoothie was dope and flavorful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I really felt like I was at home. A positive vibe. Books for the kids. Conscious books for adults. And a great place to come and have a conversation. I drove 47 minutes to get here and it was worth it. 100%.

This spot is a vibe. The books are amazing with some rare finds. I ordered the carne asada salad which sounds so bougie I love it lol. If you don’t know - I didn’t - it is a Mexican marinated beef. The salad was so good -fresh, delicious, and filling. Next time I’m back for a smoothie. With sea moss, elderberry, ginger, and other powerhouse add-ins, I’m convinced drinking these on the regular could make me invincible. I’m looking forward to testing the theory.

Found my new favorite lunch spot during a meeting! The chicken wrap was flavorful and fresh, and the fruit smoothie was the perfect boost. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, ideal for a quick bite or a chill work session. I’m already planning my next visit for their açaí bowl!

Such a safe and wholesome place with a wide range of beautiful books and great smoothies. Run by an absolute gem of a human and servant leader Rep Angie Nixon 💗. So many community events are held there as well, I cannot stress how much of a haven this is not only a bookstore.

Well look at the pictures for the food lol. As I sat there feeding my “inner big back” there was no guilt or shame because the food options are always healthy. This beloved space is much needed in our neighborhoods and I fully recommend it for healthy food options, to read from the wonderful collection of books of culture ( including mine “The Brown Unicorn”) and the may events that they host. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by.
