Capricorn Books

Fabulous independently owned bookstore. They carry a variety of books and other items. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable. A great place to hang, but also a great place to shop. There is a limited amount of seating. There aren’t too many bookstores like this anymore. Parking is available. Prices are average.

Quite possibly my favorite indie ever. The space is so cozy and magical, the book selection is perfectly curated, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Even as an indie bookseller and author who is pretty up to speed on the book world, I still always find something new-to-me and exciting at Capricorn.

What a charming little bookstore! I always like to stop by local bookstores in my travels and was instantly blown away with how magical the atmosphere was! From the friendly and helpful staff to the coziness of it all I was really impressed. I wished I had more time to spend but I will plan for it my next visit! If you’re into fiction/fantasy/sci-fi/horror their tastes in these genres are exquisite. Again it felt like the bookstore of my dreams had just appeared before me, I’m so glad I stopped by! The staff are great at making suggestions if you’re looking for gifts too!

My three stars has mainly to do with the fact that I find this to be more of a independent bookstore. Not a used bookstore. As everything in there is pretty much brand new. A used bookstore, I expect to have the vast majority of the inventory to be over 10 years old. This is very nice bookstore. Very quaint clean staff was helpful. They just not really a used bookstore
