Open Book Bookstore

What a wonderful bookseller! I can walk in, talk to the lovely folks who work there, and come away with wonderful suggestions for new reads. The selection is expansive and hidden gems always await within.

Oh my goodness, the owner of the shop couldn’t have been sweeter and more helpful. I would recommend this shop to ANYONE, even if you’re not looking for a book- you’ll leave with the best recommendation!

I walked in and no one said hello or acknowledged my presence at all, and this was on the book crawl day, and there were hardly any customers in the store, in this day where mom/pop book stores are in shortage, you would think that you would at least acknowledge a potential customer. I waited to see if the young lady would say anything, even though she did look my way, but nothing, so I left.

My nephews visited PA and the first thing they discovered in the neighborhood is this little bookstore (and the library!). They bought books as a remembrance for their visit in the state. Also, two nieces visited PA from Virginia. I was offering ice cream and food, but one of my niece (the one that is usually hard to please) went to this bookstore instead. Thank God for this little store in the neighborhood - I have a place to take my family around when they visit. 10 stars!!
