I recently rediscovered my love for reading and stumbled upon this fantastic local bookstore. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the vast selection of books, from classic mysteries to contemporary YA novels. I was particularly impressed by their extensive collection of Nancy Drew books, a nostalgic touch for any reader. One thing that really stood out to me was the helpful staff. I witnessed a family searching for a book for their daughter and was delighted by the patience and care shown by the owner (I believe). It was heartwarming to see someone taking the time to help a young reader find the perfect book. The bookstore also has a charming free book house outside, encouraging people to share their love of reading with others. Additionally, their selection of bookish merchandise (tea, stickers, canvas bags & more!) is a delightful bonus for any book lover. If you're looking for a cozy place to find your next favorite read or simply want to support a local business, I highly recommend visiting this bookstore. It's the perfect place to discover your next literary adventure.

I really like how the new owner has changed this store. It’s lively, cheery, welcoming, and warm. I appreciate her social media posts and how fun is her Book Club bringing the community together! Very knowledgeable and helpful when I go in.

Wonderful bookstore! Love their events like Silent Book Club and local author readings. They also have a great selection of books and handmade totes, bookmarks, buttons & crocheted crafts.

This was my third time visiting. The first two times the man behind the counter did not acknowledge me. I left without purchasing. Today, I received a hello from the woman, I assume the owner. She was behind the counter on her tablet. I wandering a bit and went to ask about Cozy Mysteries. She pointed to a blue cart and said a lot of people ask for Cozy Mysteries. The cart was a small 3 tier cart the type you'd put in your bathroom. It held maybe 25 books. My question is if a lot of people ask for, therefore they read cozies, why wouldn't you have more to sell??? That seems like a missed sales opportunity. I understand you're a used bookstore, but you do have the ability to source books. There was also a book I mentioned that was behind the counter. She said they were trying to value it. I mentioned it was the last I needed in my collection. One would think she would at least take down my name and phone number and since I mentioned it was the last I would need that there was a huge chance I was willing to purchase it once it was ready for sale. Nope did not ask for my info. News flash, a collector will pay if it is the last they need. I tried to engage her, as I know the store is struggling as I follow the posts on Facebook where they are begging people to come and also not buy from Amazon but them. I spent $11dollars. I was willing and wanting to spend more. My average bookstore purchasing is about $80 a trip. I didn't feel valued, or even wanted in the store. It was completely empty. There was no connection, she hardly look up from the tablet nor left the counter. (There must be a forcefield holding them to the counter!) If you want customers, you have to treat the customers like you want them. The rest of the review 3 stars. They need a refresh of titles many were old, priced high for used cracked spines, bringing in some new books would help. They had some cute sideline merchandise, I was going to buy an Alice in Wonderland clutch but I didn't get a warm welcome so I passed. I left feeling sad and unwanted. I am a massive supporter of Indie Bookstores. I go out of my way to shop them. This was not a great experience. I might give them a 4th try if I am in the area. But won't drive 45 mins again just for them.
