Chautauqua Bookstore

I love this bookstore because it’s so much more than just a bookstore. (Check out the photos.) Yes, there are books - but there are also newspapers, apparel, games and toys, cards, gifts, and plenty of unexpected finds. It’s also surprisingly spacious, which makes it fun to browse without feeling crowded. We stop in at least two or three times during our annual week in Chautauqua, and it never gets old. If you’re ever in Chautauqua, put this place on your list. It’s just plain fun and truly has something for everyone.

This was such a welcoming Institution. Everyone was exceptional, kind, caring any questions you may have about the store the buildings anything someone was always willing the talk to you. Loved my trip on a slay ride around the Institution. Much knowledge given out to my children and me.

Surprisingly large bookstore for this day in age. If my airplane luggage wasn't already too heavy and full, I probably would have bought more stuff! Very nice selection of shirts and jackets.
