Foxing 📍 PLACE NAME: Foxing Bookstore ⭐ RATING (1–5): 5 📝 WHAT I DID / WHY I CAME: I was so excited to visit this new, locally owned, bookstore off Taylor Blvd. The space was built in 1911 and is gorgeous inside. I loved the bookstore space, seating, and layout. There is ample outdoor seating. They offered a variety of books, Foxing Merch (t-shirts, canvas bag, journals, prints, etc), journals, puzzles, a little candy for sale, stickers, pins/buttons, and games! I can’t wait to watch this store grow and develop. 💡 WHAT STOOD OUT: Support Louisvillians and find reading treasures! 🔍 DETAILS / TIPS FOR OTHERS: There is ample, free parking. It’s less than 2 minutes from the Watterson exit. ✅ WOULD I RETURN / WHO IT’S FOR: I follow them on social media, and love to visit! This place is very welcoming. The person working had tattoos and piercings.

Warm greetings inviting you in to a beautiful and cozy setting within seconds of opening the door. This Bookstore will have you coming in for one book, but have you leaving with 6. The selections make it near impossible to choose just one, and don’t get me started with the food options. Looking for some great breakfast food? Look no further, because this place has it! Words can’t express enough how delightful this entire shopping experience was. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend you stopping in to visit it yourself!

We love having this local bookstore in our neighborhood, and they have an amazing selection of books for our 3 and 8 year old kids. Plenty for adults as well! The vibes are good and the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming.

I attended a class today where we learned how to crochet a small chicken. I had a great time! It was my first time ever crocheting and the girls who were teaching were so incredibly kind and patient 😊 I would definitely come back to do another crochet class or check out the book selection!
