My son has got into Magic the Gathering but there aren’t many kids his age to play with. We attended a free event on Saturday and the owner was so nice and helped get us situated with some play time against other players. We were matched with 2 great adults that were patient and pleasant to play with. Over all a great experience with great people.

Stephanie (& hubby, whose name I can’t recall, apologies!) the new owners of this amazing bookstore, have done a phenomenal job designing & stocking this wonderful shop. The atmosphere is super inviting, the prices are insanely generous, the selections are wide-ranging for youngsters on up, & these two shopkeepers are clearly committed to bringing as much camaraderie & charm to Pine Bush as they possibly can. As I was leaving the shop the other day, a woman came in very close to closing-like 7 minutes before-and instead of being greeted with, “Sorry but we’re about to close” or “You only have a few minutes to look around,” she was very pleasantly asked, “Hi there, what are you looking for?” Highly recommend!

This bookshop is a treasure. Huge selection of books for all readers from tiny one on up. Storytime and book clubs are offered. The Magic and Pokemon collections are curated by people who really understand the games.

Hands down my favorite bookstore in the Hudson Valley. The owners are the nicest people and the store is huge. Its full of used books but also has a nice selection of new books from local authors.
