5 stars for 5 reasons 1. So many interesting stuff here! Not your typical book store as you can see in the photos. 2. Staff here are super nice and knowledgeable 3. Unique items ranging from statues, incense and rocks 4. Price is very reasonable for some of the things they were selling. 5. Very clean and organized

The store was very colorful and full of crystals and jewelry and books covering yoga and eastern religions. The staff was also very nice and helpful, but sadly they had only 6 total books on tarot study, despite having a very large (locked) cabinet full of dozens of different tarot card sets. I was generally looking for the basic tarot guides from Rachel Pollack and Mary Greer and was hoping to find other guides that inspired me. It just seems odd to sell that many card sets without the guides to complement them. Oh well! If crystals and yoga specifically are your thing, this is probably the right store for you 👍🏼

Not your typical bookstore… as in don’t go in expecting fiction, nonfiction and a children’s section. Lots of crystals lots of meditation and a good vibe.

The owner and staff were very helpful and welcoming when we visited on a Philly Bookstore walking tour. We discovered that Garland opened in 1972, and is one of the oldest New Age bookstores in the country. They also offer yoga classes, have lovely jewelry, statues, cards, and more. We had fun with the pick-your-own selection of gem stones display, and will be sharing them at a local youth nature center.
