Gibson's Bookstore

As a new comer to the area, I was fortunate to have discovered this little gem of a place in downtown Concord. Three times I have come in a bad mood and left with a smile on my face! The staff in the building are all superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming! Today I found my first gift in the bookstore whilst my hubby was with me…the cashier helped me purchase the gift, put it in a bag, then yet another bag. Stapled the bag shut and voila! Going under my tree tonight. Thanks so much and for the lunch which made for us was Devine! All the food & drinks are delicious. I’m impressed…

Lovely store with a variety of books and toys. I particularly loved the lady (I wish I'd gotten her name) who helped us with our purchase, because she had a great taste in music-90's Hip-hop, and was kind.

Staffed by a team of knowledgeable and friendly personnel, this is a great bookstore with an extensive range of products from Popular to Travel, Childrens, History, Science, Mystery, Drama, Biography, and Research materials, not to mention Greeting Cards, a Food Café with meals, drinks, and tasty treats.

This is a terrific local bookstore! It has a great selection in both adult and children’s sections. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and I can tell they care about creating a positive culture. As a Concord resident, I’m grateful for such a great bookstore in town!
