Love small town bookstores. From RI and staying in Bradford, NH and came over to Warner on Friday 4/19 to check out the local bookshop. Great selection of books, toys, games, and art!

This bookstore is easily my favorite space to visit. It’s small but very comfortable and unlike a lot of other small bookstores that I’ve been to they have a really great up to date selection and they will order pretty much anything! Which is awesome because supporting a small local business is super important and I’d rather buy from them than Amazon. The people who are there are always super nice and good to chat with. If you go don’t forget to check out the gallery!

Very charming bookstore with what looks-to-be a very thoughtful collection of books. I didn't try but got the feeling that the store keeper could tell me where every book was and discuss the book in detail. Imagine going to a Home Depot and a neighborhood hardware store (yes they still exist). Also found a good collection of toys , educational and nostalgic (slinkies and kazoos, etc) that look to be cheap but decent quality. It's heartwarming to find a good real bookstore seemingly doing well in a small town in this day and age of short attention spans.

As the grandson of an English teacher and librarian, I've grown up around books my entire life and visited dozens of bookshops across the world and this might be my very favorite one. MainStreetBookends feels like a cozy inviting home where you want to curl up by the window with a mug of tea and waste your afternoon away reading in the sun. Great selection of books and games, along with cards for any occasion, gift wrap and toys. Amazing art gallery full of local artists goods and wares, not just paintings and drawings but woodworking and jewelry as well. Stop in whenever you can, if this shop doesn't brighten your day thats on you!

Today while traveling on i89 I made a quick google search for a toy store for my son. The closest one to us at the time showed up as the Main Street Book Store Of Warner. Being skeptical I called and a very delighted Clerk answered the phone and “absolutely we have toys come on in” was her reply. Her excitement alone was enough to peak mine and my wife’s interest. We definitely could not prepare ourselves for the absolute gem of a store we were about to walk into. Our eyes were as wide with excitement as our 5 year olds. We purchased 2 paint sets that included 2 plaster animals each, a Trouble board game, and a bunch of little animal figurines for our son. My wife got a bracelet that she absolutely loves as well as a foil art activity book. I purchased a couple balsa wood gliders for myself. All of this and we barely spent $60. Needless to say the atmosphere was enough to bring out my wife’s and my inner child but also allowed us to enjoy the fact we weren’t breaking the bank. I highly recommend this business and can not wait to return.
