An incredible little bookstore in the middle of nowhere. The titular grandpa was very friendly and personable. The store isn’t huge but they had a good selection of modern fiction, local authors, and a great children’s selection, would absolutely stop back in!

Owner is so kind & knowledgeable about the area & book store is amazing! I would love to just sit & listen to him. I wish he would write a book! The paths behind the book store are wonderful! One surrounds a beautiful lake with huge hills in the background. A definite best memory of our trip! Thank you!

The owner was really nice. Even though it's a small building, there were a lot of books 📚. There's also puzzles and post cards. Homemade book markers. Not just Indian published books. Theres a variety of books including, cook books, and fantasy books. I found the Hatchet in this little store. Theres no internet or cellphone service in the whole town. Try to pay with cash.

Such a great bookstore! I found a lake fish cooking book and got some good recommendations for children's chapter books too. Highly recommend a visit.
