Half Price Books Clear Lake

I love half-price books! The store is clean and the staff is kind. We always find great extra deals for myself and my son! The point of this review, though, is my experience with Kat. My 3.5 year old son wanted a second matching poster to the one I got in a little coupon book in December. I called the store and they were out of booklets! But Kat, the most kind and thoughtful person, offered to give their poster to my son. It may seem insignificant and maybe even silly but I can't even describe how meaningful this was for me. Kat chose to prioritize my son's little toddler heart and that just fills me with so much joy and appreciation. In a world where it is so so easy to find hatred and anger, Kat chose to be kind to a total stranger... offered kindness. Thank you and you deserve all the good things in life!

The employees are the best. They added more new books, which is great when you can't find a used version. Don't forget you can order from other stores too. Bring your books in for resale, but avoid busy back-to-school time.

Love this place!!! T8nnes of jig saw puzzles and all kinds of nostalgic tid bits. Employees are super helpful!

It's a very large, well-organized branch with a wide variety of products. It's preferred over other stores.
