In this age of everything electronic and online it is a pleasure to hold a real book in one's hands. Half price books has a gigantic inventory of gently used books that are a pleasure to read. They are invariably in good shape and economically priced.

I've been in love with HPB since I was a kid. You will always find something to read, watch or listen to here. They always have a great selection and prices are always reasonable. Go HPB!

Every time I come to Madison’s east side I have to stop at Half Price Books. The inventory is always changing and the selection of books by genre is generous. Bought a couple books and I look forward to coming back.

I always love half price books. Just walking in and seeing the books the gently used books and knowing I'll find something to enjoy that somebody has passed along makes my heart all warm and fuzzy!

I haven't been to half Price books in quite a long time. The store was clean and organized. The books, games, etc. were all in very good shape with the price to match. We went on to buy a book and left out also with two games. one twisted charades and cards against humanity. Both games were in beautiful condition and had all parts to them including instruction books. There were records, discs, games, child section, Tarot decks. You name it. They had it. The store location was easy to get to and was clearly marked from the street. With of Plenty of parking. We couldn't believe that we got cards against humanity as cheap as we did with it in such great condition. We are very much looking forward to having many more game nights.
