Stop here if you want to find a local independent bookstore with an amazing selection of titles, a truly uplifting atmosphere, and some wonderful employees at the counter. Absolutely recommended if you're in town!

this bookstore is so cute! nestled in a lower level area on a hill it pleasingly opens up to be a quaint, well-stocked book escape. with a selection of many genres as well as UK editions of some novels, it’s a must see in madison! i stopped by just to see but definitely will be back :)

This bookstore has what you’re looking for (probably)! The kids section is one of my favorites locally with space for the kids to sit and look through books they might be interested in. Their book-related and locally made gifts make this a great place to shop for all ages. I especially love the small used books section and feature of local authors. I’ve seen several signed copies of different books here. There is some parking out front if you’re lucky, or a near by parking garage that isn’t too pricy but be prepared to do a lap around the block.

This place is super cozy! I've come back here a few times now, and every time the experience has been wonderful. Everyone who works here is amazing, and is super helpful and super enjoyable to talk to! They have a nice selection of both used and new books too, so they'll almost definitely have something in your price range :)
