Half Price Books Lewis Center

Not only do you find your favorite books for amazing prices but you also receive amazing customer service! After having lunch with the girls, we decided to head to Half Priced Books, and while checking out one of our friends fainted. Thankfully Kevin was there that night and showed nothing but patience, kindness, and support. He sat with us till the medics arrived, offered us water and truly handled the situation with so much grace. This location has always been one of my favorite bookstores, and thanks to Kevin, I couldn’t feel more comfortable coming here and shopping again. 10/10 recommend!

I love this place! What can't you find here ?! Books, magazines,games, collectibles, audios, videos, cards,etc. Everything very well organized! Friendly employees & patrons ❤️ ❤️. Olivia ( my rescue puppy) and I "stopped" by on 11/23/25. My "stops" often easily turn into hours. Chairs are placed around the store for comfortable browsing. I especially enjoy the clearance section. Magazines categorized by subject-often ones that are of my interest and curiosity but a bit beyond my means as new mags. Most going for 50¢ or $1. Prices can't be beat and if it's time to release some of your books, etc.. just take them with you and Half Price Books will buy them- such a good way to recycle! The only thing missing here is a good cup of coffee☕. Thank you Half Price Books!

So I went to Half Price for my first time EVER yesterday. 8 books and a bag for $50. It doesn’t get better than that!! Then my bestie passed out. That marg from our dinner did her dirty. Kevin, not sure his rank but he’s an employee here, handled the situation like a PRO. Then talked w me and my other friend while we waited on medics to be finished w our friend. He kept us so calm and comfortable during a scary moment and was also very kind and personable during our checkout, prior to the medical event lol. So thank you so much Kevin and crew who helped my friend and created the most memorable first time at HPB!!!

The best Half Price. They always handle my complicated transfers, remedy any situations with actual solutions, and they are the best at having matching online inventory. The staff is friendly, but they aren’t overbearing, and the management seems to do a good job of keeping everyone trained and informed. If I go in expecting to come out with a stack of books, I come out with a stack of books. 10/10.
