For an adult, walking into this building is the equivalent of a child entering a candy store. The only difference is I have to pay for it myself. I was absolutely smitten. The pictures attached are just some of the series I was able to find. I wish I wasn’t on a vacation so I could’ve taken them all home with me. But limiting myself to 10 books was hard (maybe that’s why my duffle bag ripped coming home)!

This is probably the smallest location I’ve visited, yet it remains impressively clean, well-organized, and stocked with an exceptional selection. I found everything I was looking for effortlessly and felt tempted to linger even after checking out. The staff is both helpful and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Their prices are unbeatable—I managed to purchase hardcover classics in pristine condition for just $7, along with smaller annotated paperbacks for only $5. Incredible value. They also carry a notable selection of manga and affordable video games for consoles like the Nintendo Switch, GameCube, DS, 3DS, and Xbox. Additionally, they offer individual Pokémon cards for $3—while not in unopened packs, the quality and price are excellent. Personally, I love using a beautiful Pokémon card as a bookmark, but they also sell a variety of traditional bookmarks for those who prefer them. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I came here to sell some laser discs that were left in my wife’s storage and I am dealing with being able to sell them here and what doesn’t sell they’ll recycle or donate but they’ve got a neat little restaurant in the back with excellent service and really good food and I’m experiencing the pretzel and feta along with the tartare the steak tartare and it’s delicious absolutely delicious and my waitress is Emma and I’ve also made friends with Astrid, both of whom like taking care of us and you have books and all sorts of other audio video entertainment, and reading available to you and you can do it with a healthy stomach and really enjoy it thoroughly! This is the flagship of the half-price books in Dallas and it is absolutely a wonder! It’s phenomenal! And five star doesn’t give it enough credit!

My first visit here and I spent over $300 without even trying to. They have everything you could ever need or want all priced realistically. In the hour I spent there, I was able to get some great movie steelbooks, a few records I’ve been wanting, and around 20 books that I’ve been wanting for my home collection/reading list. The parking lot is super easy to navigate, the staff are all great, and the selection could have you pour hours without even scratching the surface. I highly recommend.
