A cute, and a little outta the way, independent bookstore we found during an Indy Bookstore tour in Iowa. Lotsa history and awesome people along the route. If you're in SW Iowa, be sure to hit up Hedgie's! Sandy was so fun and sweet.

This is a very nice bookstore in a small town in Iowa. We visited as part of the bookstore passport program this summer. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. They also have a lot of children's books, toys and games as well as young adolescent books. It is worth a visit!

This book store was such a cute place. The atmosphere was great. Glad my friend and I found this small town gem on our Iowa Bookstore Tour!

I love this store! As always, Hedgies had a great variety of books, toys, crafts, wine, etc. Thanks Sandy and Kevin for lunch and cookies. Happy 4th birthday to Hedgies!
