Connect with fellow book lovers, stay updated on bookshop events, and discover new independent bookshops.
Nestled in the heart of Creston's uptown district, just two blocks from the historic depot, you'll find The Latest Edition Bookstore. We're not just a bookstore; we're a part of the community's revival, and we invite you to be a part of it, too. Come in to browse for your next favorite book, sip on coffee or wine, relax on the couch in front of the fireplace, sit at the window seat, chat with a friend, listen to music, or watch your children play. Additionally, you can join us for engaging storytime sessions in our dedicated kids' section, where young ones can be transported to far-off places through the magic of storytelling or sign up to attend a book club meeting where members receive exclusive discounts. At The Latest Edition Bookstore, we're not just a place to shop; we're a place to connect, rejuvenate, and help breathe new life into our beloved uptown.

Wonderful little book store. Nice selection of new releases. Great selection of used books. I bought 2! Kids books and a craft corner. Candles that smell amazing, comfortable seating for you to explore your new book. Stop in and shop local! Teachers get 10% off! If you have volume One (A-K) of this Columbia Viking Encyclopedia, you should probably bring it in here. I would love to buy it.

This new store is adorable! So many treasures ... I love the candle "The Library" that I found there.
