Horizon Books

Great spot to work on a laptop with a cup of coffee, and they are open much later than other coffee shops in town. They have a nice selection of books and I always enjoy visiting Horizon!

I went inside and they have amazing selections of books exactly what I was looking for, but it pains me to say that the lady that checked me out was absolutely horrible. she gave me a extreme dirty look and just looked at me like I was stupid to the point where I asked her if she would like me to put them back or what the issue was tothat, she said “what” and continued To smirk like it was funny. I did not understand what I did to deserve that dirty look. first of all, she never even made herself known no greeting or anything when I walked in. I personally didn’t see anybody around. I even told my sister I don’t see anybody to cash me out and when I finally got up there, I spotted her sitting all the way in the back and that’s when she was rude and made it seem like I was a burden. even though their books selection was amazing I probably will not be back.

I always enjoy my visits to Horizon. They always have new, wonderful things to discover, the book club rocks, and everyone is always so nice and helpful. They make a mean cup of coffee, too! My home away from home. :)

Absolutely wonderful experience visiting Horizon Books! The staff member was so friendly and welcoming, and the selection was great. This was my first visit but I will definitely be returning!
