HW Book Peddlers

The selection is great, but it was more expensive than I would have liked. I get with Amazon independent bookstores have to have higher prices, but some felt absurd. I really liked the layout of the store! I got a blind date with a book. I mean it was $8, so I guess you get what you pay for. I was just disappointed there were no warnings that it was a rejected book from another store. I could tell by the sharpie line at the bottom and tear in the back. Overall it was good, but a bit pricey and not very informative about Blind date with a books

It took a while to find it, but I'm so glad I did! Apparently they moved from their former location a couple months ago to a new location in the mall...I believe it's near the Big Lots now, or at least close to Ross. If I hadn't seen book displays, I wouldn't have known that was it- they don't have their name up yet! The staff member who helped me was a very nice older woman; I didn't catch her name, but she gave me some great suggestions and recommendations. They seem to have a good collection of books and activity books there, and best of all, their used books are only $1.00!

I am glad to see book stores are still around. Buying a book online is not the same as a bookstore. When I entered the store, I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I noticed the store was very clean and organized. Very nice store to look around in. They have a nice variety of books and other things. The store is easy to walk around and plenty of space to look. The history section has a wide range of events from history. Numerous books from WW II and a few hard to find ones. Sports and Animal section had a large variety. The kid section was impressive of the variery and a nice little table. They had kid dvd's Curious George, Thomas the Tank, Reading Rainbow, etc. All were a good price. They had some games and some toys. The prices are very reasonable and some were even cheaper than online. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, and she is a super nice person who loves to talk about books. She is very knowledgeable and answered my questions about some of the books I was looking for in the store. The new release book section has a wide variety and is not overpriced. No problems parking, clean store and friendly staff. The staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful. It was easy to find in the DuBois Mall. I highly recommend checking it out

We LOVE this book store. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help find things or make recommendations. So lucky that we have this amazing book store in Dubois. Plus, we are huge fans of the book club they run!
