The Squirrel and Acorn Bookshop, is a general interest bookstore dedicated to the provision and creation of the written word. Its' foundation lies upon the belief that all stories and histories must be told, marginalized voices revealed, and supported, and should represent everyone that walks through our doors. We wish to provide not only intimate moments to connect to interesting writing, but to provide tools, time, and inspiration to create your own with a supply of paper, pencils, pens, workshops, and support.

I love this little book shop! It is so quaint and charming, in addition to having a wonderful selection of books. I try to order from here whenever I can. The owner is SO kind and really goes above and beyond to connect with customers and help. Highly recommend!

Very cute shop. The owner is soo friendly. The store is very cozy and neat. All the books are well organised in the racks. They do have a kids section too, pretty cute experience overall. :)

I love the stationary selection, specifically Field Notes note books. I've always been a fan and until this shop opened there was no physical location to buy them in central Pa. I can't speak for the book selection as I haven't looked around. Next visit I'll definitely explore a bit more.

Wonderful small bookshop. Not a huge selection, but carefully selected, and very helpful with special orders. Friendly staff. The kind of bookshop people write books about.

Charming well curated book store with some stationary too. Would love to see a staff’s picks and a local authors section. So happy to have this is state college.
