My favorite independent bookstore. The space itself is inviting, cozy with a touch of whimsy. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. And their book selections are top tier. If you are visiting the Kew Gardens neighborhood, make sure to make a stop at Kew and Willow and experience the magic of this adorable shop!

The comfiest bookstore you’ll ever find! This shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s hard to match anywhere else. I’ve visited a few times, usually after catching a movie at the theater nearby, but my favorite time to stop by is at night. On my last visit, they were setting up for a game night. Within minutes, people started coming in, strangers at first, but soon laughing and chatting like old friends. The environment is so naturally friendly and inviting that it brings people together. I wished I’d stayed longer, but I was not in the social butterfly mood. Beyond the wonderful vibe, their book selection is great. No matter what kind of reader you are, you’ll definitely find something that catches your eye.

Great bookstore. The customer service was incredible. The attendant was super helpful, friendly and attentive. I found everything I was looking for here. The store was super clean and well kept. I enjoyed my time here. There are a lot of young adult books that could also be used as adults, super interesting. There’s a really cool section for children. I thought that was brilliant. Their little reading area is super cute. There’s metered parking available around the area. The Q10 bus stops very close to the store also.

An amazing small business, my wife and I were visiting NYC from Florida (It's so different in NYC, I felt safe walking around as an out trans person), and we stopped here while exploring, we weren't able to buy anything, but the atmosphere and general experience was very welcoming. We hope to be back someday to actually buy something and support a welcoming environment such as this. 100%
