I love how the layout of the Book Shop here is! It's like antique store, but just with books. It makes you feel like book heaven with many amounts of books from Art Books to good amount of History Books. The owner of Literarity Book Shop named Bill is a awesome and knowledgeable person. He gave me a good amount of information and Book knowledge of history on Books from here in El Paso. Definitely coming back here for more history books selection. Thank you Mr. Bill. 🙌🏻

I fell in love with this bookstore instantly. Not only does it have a very different selection from most bookstores, but it also has a wide variety to choose from. The attention is excellent; I would truly recommend it if you're looking for good recommendations!

This place is just *chefs kiss* fabulous. AMAZING selection, great prices, and Bill was such a gem. He saw a couple of my books and immediately recommended a few he thought I’d like and they were right up my alley. I don’t live on this side of town but the drive is absolutely worth it for me.

I was on a short visit to El Paso a couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine took me to Literarity, an independent bookstore on the West Side. I met Bill, who took the time to talk me through his experiences with local authors and provide recommendations based on our conversation. I feel like we could have grabbed a cup of coffee and talked all day about books and life and more books. He even offered to ship my purchased books to me, several of which were signed copies, since I had limited space in my luggage. Yesterday I received my box, filled with carefully, individually wrapped books and it felt like Christmas again! Thank you Bill, when I visit again I will be sure to stop in! This is exactly why we need to support our Independents, they make you feel right at home when you’re 2,000 miles away.

Owner made a rude comment about locals being illiterate and blamed it for the lack of readership of UTEP professor's publications. In reality, books are expensive and professors offer alternate means. Some of the history books about El Paso have a negative view of Mexican Americans and are outdated. I felt uncomfortable being in the store.
