Lock City Books

We were delighted to utilize the awesome space at Lock City Books for a book-themed baby shower! The shop features new, used, children’s, YA, and adult books as well as fun novelties. The small stage was perfect for gift opening and our Jeopardy shower game. Our guests loved petting the two friendly kitties in the front enclosure and perusing the shop before, during, and after the shower! The owner, Holly, took care of so many things for us, including setting up rental tables and chairs we needed and made herself available for all of our questions. The shop is located next to a cute coffee shop, and there was ample nearby parking. Our cookies were provided by Shell’s Sweets, and our taco bar was catered by Santora’s. We can’t wait for our next visit to Lock City Books!

Such a cute little book store, staff is very friendly. At the time of our visit, there were some cats in the front part of the building that you could go in and play with and there was also two little shitzu puppies running around that were up for adoption. Amazing little book store!

My girlfriend and I were visiting from out of town and just so happened to stumble upon this adorable book store while we were out and about! They have a great selection of new and used books, so many cute stickers, and my personal favorite, they help shelter kitties find their forever homes! If you're abook lover and ever in the area, definitely check Lock City Books out, you won't regret it!

Love the new location and expanded selection! Lots of fun things for kiddos to do while you browse for books. Can't wait for my next visit!
