Madison Street Books

I stopped by Madison Street Books for the first time this past Saturday and was so impressed by the whole experience. The space is cozy and beautifully arranged, with a really thoughtful selection of books. It's clearly an LGBTQ+ friendly store— I immediately felt comfortable and seen. I ended up picking up a copy of “Gender Euphoria”, which I was so happy to find on their shelves. They also had many beautiful accessories, I even found a tote bag that brought back great memories—it felt like the perfect little treasure! The staff were kind and helpful, and the overall vibe was just lovely. I’m so glad I found this place, and I can’t wait to come back!!

Madison Street Books has a really nice and curated collection of books Since it is near the hotel I was staying at, I thought I would stop by and check it out yesterday morning Based on the exterior aesthetic, I wasn’t sure if it would be more of a used bookstore or a bookstore with newer books, but it has more books that are popular right now than I thought it would have It’s nicely organized, and if I were local, I would have likely stopped by every once in a while

I always love Mad Street Books! The staff is so personable, they make great recommendations, and I always enjoy my visits there. One of my favorite indie books stores in Chicago!

Cute little place. Very nice staffs, very nice atmosphere. Comfortable chairs if you want to have a read. Gotta love it. Definitely bring your kid in if you’re a parent. Also appreciate that they have a feminist section and a russia/ukraine section of books on display in the center of the store.
