You will not visit a book shop with more experienced staff, or better curated selection. This is literally the world capitol of Lincolnania.

A wonderful shop for the history lover. I’ve purchased several books from the store and have always received prompt and thoughtful service. The also have many wonderful online author events.

This is a great place to get to know the man who left a mark on U.S history. I would go again. Matter of fact. Invite my folks! A Very Welcoming place. At least experience this Shop once in your life! Currently reading the American Brutus and I gotta say I have visited the Best Bookshop on the planet!!! Hope to visit once more!

My husband and I went here on a whim, just because it was on our way to a restaurant where we were having dinner. Could not recommend more highly. Neither of us has any special interest in or knowledge of Lincoln or the Civil War, but the bibliopole (this is what his card says) Bjorn Skaptason gave us a guided tour of the store. We ended up hitting on the topic of German migration to the US during the 19th century, in particular the role of German radicals in the abolition movement, a piece of history I had never heard about. I was completely hooked and we ended up being late to dinner. It would be interesting to know what other pockets of deep knowledge Bjorn has.
