I always loved going in after work down the walking mall and chatting with the employees during high school. Now that I've moved away from Helena, I always try to stop by at least once each time I visit town to see all the happy people. They are always helpful, including in a dream that I had a couple nights ago :)

Send the kids and teens to their own sections of the store, and then linger over your own favorites. The staff is helpful, available, intelligent, and full of thoughtful recommendations. Love this store! A wide selection of books for all ages and interests, plus lots of other fun stuff like stickers. I love all of the inclusive signage, merch, and general vibe of acceptance from the staff. I look forward to many more trips to the MT Book Co ❤️
