Favorite place in town! LOTS of community events and support for the community. Great staff and atmosphere! 10/10 in Townsend! My only complaint is I was in earlier today when a large group of ADULTS came in, useD the restroom and left. Then one of the guys proceeded to leave a Google review giving 1 star for rude/no customer services. The owner clearly welcomed the group warmly, has a sign posted on the door that says "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS" and the group didnt even buy anything. What a entitled, petty, rude, and sad individual!

We stopped by Reading Leaves on our way back home to Helena, and I'm so sad I didn't know about it til now! They have a great selection and even offer food and coffee in their little cafe. If we had more time, it seems like a great place to spend the afternoon reading a good book. The owner was super helpful and her suggestion at a new series was spot on what I needed. Will definitely be back in the future!

Reading Leaves is a very nice locally owned bookstore. They have a variety of gifts as well as books. Everything from soaps and teas to games. You can find items here for both kids and adults. The shop owners have big plans for this store. So far they have done a great job rejuvenating the building and turning it into a great bookstore. Look for future improvements such as a coffee shop and a gaming space. I was pleasantly surprised to find some last minute holiday gift items here. Townsend is very fortunate to have such a quaint little shop like this in the community.

Such a lovely bookstore. New and used books are priced right with great selections. Get a coffee while you’re there as well. Bonus- two sweet bookstore cats.
