What a great bookstore. Of course I love to read and enjoy looking at the latest releases, but there is more to the store. It has story time for kids, which is perfect for our grandchild who lives to be read too. There are signed books, author events and a friendly staff. When you have a chance and need a good read to entertain, excite or thrill you stop by the Newnan Book Co., on the Newnan square.

This indie bookstore is under new ownership as of June 2025 and is an absolute dream! They have a great selection of new titles - many signed by the author - as well as classics and currently trending books. The kids section is adorable and also has a great selection for littles, early readers, and beyond. A great little refresh in downtown Newnan!

This store is beautifully laid out with thoughtful displays. As a parent of a toddler, I really appreciate that there's a dedicated children's area with a train set in the back and subsections of books for different ages. The children's books include classics and newer more innovative books that I was happy to learn about. Can't wait to go back!

The new owner is awesome! She is so knowledgeable about many genres. Every week there’s a story time for kids, events, multiple books clubs. I meet a new friend every time I go in.

This place is such a wonderful addition to the downtown newnan square! When you walk up to the energetic store front, you’re greeted by cheerful color and a wonderful smile from the owner! This place has a wonderful curated collection of books of all types and the owner makes everyone feel welcome and valued! If you aren’t sure what you’re looking for, the owner will offer her knowledge of books and recommend one that you’ll fall in love with! New books each week and even, a “date night” section where you can pick up a book the owner has selected. Unwrap it to see which book is inside! It’s all here! Stop in for a wonderful experience and book!
