A new location for a beloved Seattle bookstore, artsy and cosmopolitan, defiantly intellectual while also retaining the quirkiness of the city. While I was here, some small booksellers were talking to the clerk about a book on the history of radicalism in Echo Park in Los Angeles and how it grew out of 19th century spiritualism: that is the kind of place this is, and I find it quite charming. It is the kind of place where black turtlenecks are welcome and you can ask questions about French philosophy and probably get a decent answer: urbane, hip, and a little pretentious, but never snooty or condescending. It is a small bookstore, but it is quite a memorable one. It is distinctly seattle, and yet it brought back some nostalgic memories of my undergrad years in NYC, scouring the streets for small, slightly dingy book stores like this just pulsating with artistic creative energy. If you are a specific kind of person, you will feel very at home here, and I feel like I am.

Great place! Didn't catch the name of the person but they helped me pick out this great book! We're very friendly and helpful even when it was just 2 minutes to close. Have me great insights into the author, their style, etc. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great collection of poems.

This magical, one-of-a-kind bookstore has moved to 108 Cherry Street (in Pioneer Square) and it is even more beautiful than before!! Incredible selection of poetry books—new, used, and rare—in the historic Good Arts building. Unique, must-visit shop for travelers coming through Seattle and a beloved hub for poets and poetry lovers worldwide! 💖💞💘

It’s so cool to have a bookstore dedicated to poetry! They do have a small, well appointed fiction section as well but I feel there’s a poetry book here for any literary lover.

The new location is 108 Cherry Street in Pioneer Square. It’s a beautiful old building walking distance from the ferry terminal and Pike Place Market.
