Pulling up to Owl Pen was like pulling up to a dream. The flowers, gardens, and grounds are beautiful! The barn with books smells so nostalgic, took me back to my childhood. There is massive selection of very reasonably priced! The owner is lovely! I highly recommend paying a visit to Own Pen Books ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a most lovely place to visit. It was a little adventure through the country to get here and my sister and I loved it. So much of this hidden gem made us feel like we went back to our childhood and stepped back in time. And then there are the books! So many wonderful books and any genre you can think of. We were so impressed by how well they had been categorized as well as their conditions and the quantity of them with the aisles labeled as well. It was so nice and peaceful while browsing too. And the prices were very fair. There were other people there and I loved hearing the little gasps from them when they found a book! The owner was also so friendly and helpful. You never know what you will find in a place like this. That is part of the fun and the thrill of the hunt! We love our purchases and we will definitely be going back!

Owl Pen Books is a unique second hand bookstore tucked away in a quiet location. I enjoyed my stop today where the drive offered breathtaking autumnal views. The owner was knowledgeable about where all the books were located and what was on hand. I found a few treasures and learned about some local history along the way. It’s a labyrinth of books that I found comforting to get lost in. They are only open from 5/1 to 10/31, but definitely worth a visit if you can.

If there's an award for Most Charming Bookstore in the World, this place gets it. Super cute, tons of titles, knowledgeable owners happy to share information, but absolutely zero hard selling. You travel a dirt road to get here, but it almost feels like you travelled back in time. Take a mug of coffee and stay awhile.
