An amazing selection of new and old Philippine centered writings. There are sections for the diaspora, children's books, women-writers, men-writers, and many more! Cedric who was working the store while we visited was kind, helpful and very friendly.

It's tiny but it's packed with a great selection of books - was looking specifically for children's books and they not only had the ones I was looking for but a few others that I hadn't heard of yet. The location is in a gorgeous hidden gem arcade shopping plaza too.

Ordered 2 books from them and only received one. I have been emailing them since OCTOBER to send my second book I’ve already paid for or at the very least, refund me. I’ve sent proof of payment directly to the owners, Linda and Robert and even messaged their Instagram to try to expedite the process. No response from either. I usually look forward to supporting small businesses, especially of people from my motherland. I was excited to order from this store because there’s not many educational resources on Philippine history, especially precolonial, but they’re straight up thieves. Don’t order anything here unless you want to get scammed and ignored.

Don't order from them online. I've been buying from small, independent bookstores all my life *and* have always tried to support businesses from my mom's home country, but my experience with these guys was so terrible that I feel I need to review them. Ordered two books online in May, they sent me one book with a note that the second one is to follow, I followed up about six weeks later, only then did they tell me the second book actually doesn't exist. I had to write again (over a week ago) to insist that they please refund the $30ish for that second book. No response. Long and short of it - they're either the world's most disorganized online booksellers or straight up thieves.

This is such a cool bookshop that has books that focus on the Filipino experience. Spaces like this are so rare and this spot is a gem! I highly recommend visiting it (also visit the museum that also showcases Filipino culture next to it since it’s apparently closing soon).
