Plot Twist Books

This is a cute book shop in a great area of Charleston, WV. I found it online completely by accident. It just so happened that I was also looking for a place to get away for our anniversary. When I saw it also functioned as an AirBnB, I knew it was perfect for us. We enjoyed a night of bookstore browsing all to ourselves. The host was amazing. I'd definitely come back! Walkability is great with local eateries, antique, and thrift store shopping.

Amazing used book selection as well as a really good new selection. Everything is organized extremely well and I found used books on my TBR list as well as a bunch of new books to add. I honestly feel like I’m “in the way” at some of the coffee/bookstore combos so I appreciate that this is just a chill little bookstore :)

Went here on a whim and was not disappointed! The staff were super friendly and overall wonderful. The shop itself is super cute. Would love to go back again.

Plot Twist Books is hands down better than Taylor Books in my opinion. The selection is way more diverse, and even the used books are in great to excellent condition. The girl working there is literally living my dream job. She was so wholesome and kind, you could just tell she loves being there. The whole place has this cozy, peaceful welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay forever. They even have a little coffee and hot cocoa station, which is such a cute touch. And their blind date with a book section? It’s affordable like $5 to $7!! I couldn’t resist grabbing one…or two… They’ve got everything from cookbooks to fantasy, new releases to older books, and it’s all super well organized. I love it. I was genuinely impressed. I’ll definitely be coming back. Probably way too often.
