The CUTEST bookstore! I stopped by to look for a birthday gift for a friend and put together the perfect little bundle- happy to see a whole stationery room! I was also delighted to see their amazing selection of nonfiction- had to bookmark several titles to return for! I just moved to Lancaster and swinging by on a Sunday immediately made me feel at home. The staff is so friendly and warm 💖

The BEST bookshop around. My friend introduced me to PB a few years ago and its been a staple ever since. When you walk in, it feels like a big hug! Amazing book selection, they have all the ones you are looking for from YA books to spicy romance to current events. They also have a whole room of young kids books too! They also hold community events that are really amazing. All around, its an excellent business with good vibes, and great values!! excellent business!!

My new favorite bookstore. I've heard about Pocket Books for years but didn't get myself there until recently when I attended a writing workshop. It's entire atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and inclusive. The collection of books here is heavily focused on representing marginalized communities. In addition to their excellent book selection they have some adorable stickers and other goodies. If you're looking for a cute, welcoming, gay little bookstore this is the place. ☺️

Pocket Books is one of my favorite spots in Lancaster! The shop has a beautifully curated selection of books, great programming for both kids and adults, and the best vibes. I’m also grateful for the many ways that Jess, Austin, and Julie intentionally invest in the Lancaster community.

Preordered Onyx Storm from this lovely shop to support a local bookstore during this release! Not only do they offer discounts for preorders, they opened early for the release making it quick and easy to pick up! This was my first time visiting and I left with more than I came for. What an absolutely incredible bookstore! Lots of variety to choose from, the setting is comfortable and quiet and perfect for book lovers, the staff is warm and welcoming. As a lover of old homes as well, the exterior character didn’t disappoint. Cannot wait to visit again. This shop shares a wonderful message to their community leaving you feeling valued as a human.
