Poe & Company Bookstore

Went to an author's event here and loved it. The staff was kind, the space was great for the group, and there were even little treats! Whether you're an author hosting, or someone in the neighborhood looking to browse a cute locally-owned shop, I can't recommend a better place.

Poe & Company Bookstore has got to be the cutest bookstore I’ve visited in a long time. Immediately upon entering, it has a warm feeling of a charming bookstore you’d love to frequent if you’re a bookworm. It’s filled with a great variety of books and other items, along with helpful staff that take the time to answer any questions you might have. I was able to grab books and other toys for my young nieces and nephew while shopping here recently for the Christmas holiday, and they even offered complimentary gift wrapping, which was greatly appreciated! The kids loved the books and puzzles I purchased here at Poe & Company. I will have to bring them in for a visit the next time I’m watching them. There was another book I was looking for that they didn’t have on the shelf, and they ordered it and notified me within a few days once it arrived. Exceptional service all around at this bookstore! Poe & Company has various events like book signings and children’s story time, the interiors are set up perfectly for children’s story time, and the cozy vibe of this bookstore is a great backdrop for people in the community to connect. Poe & Company is a much needed independent bookstore for this growing area, it’s so charming on the inside, and the excellent customer service reminds you of why shopping local is such a treat. I look forward to visiting again soon!

I stopped into one of my favorite local bookstores today, Poe & Company and, as always, had a fantastic experience! This charming independent shop features a thoughtfully curated selection of titles, ranging from fiction and fantasy to biographies and beyond. This was probably my tenth visit, and they somehow always have the next must-read I’ve been eyeing. One of the things I love most about Poe & Co. is their willingness to order anything that isn’t in stock, making it easy to support local while still getting exactly what I’m looking for. Their rewards program is another added bonus! The staff is consistently warm and welcoming, greeting me with a smile every time I stop by. They’re also incredibly helpful with recommendations, especially when I’m in the mood to discover a new author. I highly recommend Poe & Company to any fellow book lovers. They’ve recently expanded into the space next door, adding cozy seating where you can settle in and sample your next great read. Support your local bookstores!

Best bookstore 📚 in Milton! Cozy coffee shop attached. Baby storytime on Fridays in English and Spanish. Super-friendly staff.
