Quaint little place that both my wife and I loved. Books everywhere! From new to very old. There is something for everyone here. As soon as you walk in the door, the aroma of books and coffee from the adjoining shop welcome you in to browse and admire the collection.

I absolutely love our bookstore! It has new books for readers to enjoy but the attic is MAGICAL! So many old books. It’s connected to the coffeetree and completely Kentucky. Three absolute locally owned must-sees!

Staff was very welcoming and the store had amazing shelves of books laid out! I came in for the Book Crawl and had been disheartened from my two previous stops at independent book stores and wasn't expecting ting much. Thank goodness it was my last stop, they made me feel valued and excited to have Book Crawl business.

I loved it here. The upstairs is the attic of my dreams! It's full of old books, shelves, stacks of books, wooden tables and the best book smell ever. The ladies working were so nice and it is attached to a coffee shop!

Poor Richard's is a great local bookstore in downtown Frankfort, connected with one of my favorite coffee shops. They always have a great selection of books by local writers, too. Stop in and check them out!
Independent bookshops are the heart of local communities. Visit, shop, and help keep them thriving!
