Saw a fabulous show here dedicated to Italian poster art in the Mussolini era—didn’t know what to expect but the exhibition was dynamically arranged with an overflow of stunning posters as well as other exhibits—including sculptures—that were equally impressive and illuminating. It also happened to be free on the Friday I stopped by—an unexpected but welcome bonus! It’s a tight squeeze of an exhibition space but they make the most of it, and there is a cafe and gift shop as well. Highly recommended and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Such a fun place! $15 entry charge. We saw an awesome exhibit on Italian fascism, a wonderful one on National Park posters and then the museum's foreign film poster collection. We loved all of it and ended up buying several postcards and posters from the museum shop. They also have a cute cafe inside but we didnt try it since we'd just had breakfast.

This museum spans two floors, and the staff are warm and welcoming. While the overall space is quite compact—with the gift shop, counter, and seating area occupying a significant portion—it may appeal more to visitors looking for a brief stop. The National Park posters exhibit, however, was a lovely highlight.

Don't miss this museum! It focuses specifically on the art of posters, but even if you're not a graphic design expert, you can still enjoy it like any other art museum. The exhibits were all wonderfully curated and introduced me to a lot of cool artists I'd never heard of. Will definitely return the next time I vacation in NY.

Just saw the “Blazing a Trail: National Parks” exhibit. Wow. Incredible to learn about Dorothy Waugh and her influence on posters and visuals that I love today. And amazing to see national parks on display. Uplifting and inspirational and left me wanting to see more. Very well done. Even my 4 and 6 year old were engaged!
