Great vibes for the most part, love the inclusiveness and community work they do. Just wish they would stop supporting that transphobe by displaying/selling Harry Potter stuff. Hard to feel like its a truly welcoming place to lgbtq+ people when theres hogwarts stuff all over.

Delightful bookstore - great selection, friendly and helpful staff, calming atmosphere that will tempt you to spend a few hours perusing the books. This store is a gem in downtown Ottawa!

Prairie Fox Books is a cozy little bookstore with a great vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and browse for a while. Good selection, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and love independent bookstores.

What a marvelous store! The owner was very helpful and attentive, even went so far as to discuss used books in my preference. Bought a used book by a Hawaiian devotee of poetry! They accept used book donations. Their floor stock includes new and used. There is a cute and refreshing cafe inside, perfect for tuning up your thirst for another bought page-turner! Delightfully enlightened environment! The treasure chest of Ottawa.
