Fantastic bookstore. I got a signed edition of Patti Smith's memoir bread of angels. This is a great bookstore with a lot of cool notebooks and all kinds of things. Definitely one of my favorites. Excellent staff and great service.

Have loved the is bookstore since moved to the area in 2003. I’ve since moved to AZ - bit in visit the area a minimum of twice a year and I always shop each and every visit. I still maintain my membership as well - I love that I can purchase from your stone on line as well - especially for gift giving. Your author events are always amazing - when my sons were small we would attend to meet their favorite authors. Thank you for encouraging everyone to read - and for having the diversity to appeal to all tastes!

I came from out of town to attend the 03 Sept book signing for Christine Brown with my mom. Though we weren’t there specifically to shop, the store itself was lovely. It was clean, tidy, well-stocked, and bigger on the inside than it appeared from the street. They had a wide selection of books from what we could tell as we made our way through the lines. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and welcoming as well. They kept to the line numbering as promised in the event directions, which limited the chaos of a sold out event. Very much appreciated! The store made the whole experience very pleasant :)

The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. They take the time to get to know you beyond what kind of books you want. The recommendations are stellar. A wide selection of autographed books! They set up amazing author events with great authors! The events are always well organized and its so easy to go through the signing/photo line. Its easy to see why they've been here for more than 150 years!
