P&T Bookstore in the Lower East Side is a gem. It’s got a great vibe with a coffee shop right inside, so you can grab a drink and settle in. There’s a big reading area that makes it easy to hang out for a while and really browse. The selection is thoughtful and the space feels welcoming—perfect for book lovers who want to take their time and enjoy the atmosphere.

The loveliest experience. Great bookstore, great staff, and the podcast studio is such a great service they provide for the community. Just came from my first recording there- San was super helpful and knowledgeable. Got a great book on the way out too. Can’t wait to be back in studio and to attend their events! Looks like a great line-up. Please support this wonderful establishment!

Great place to hear thoughtful readings. I was a little surprised that it costs $10 to attend the reading, even if you buy the book (the reading + book bundles weren't offered for sale the day of the event.)

Attended a book reading here. The staff were very friendly. Loved that they had coffee and treats. Was very happy to support this minority-owned small business.
