They have a wonderful selection however, the reason why my review is terribly low it’s just mostly due to the poor customer service regardless I still bought a book for my baby because I did find one that he enjoyed. It just is super unfortunate that when compared to the big box Bookstore, they have a way better customer service experience than with a small business.

Great selection of books, loved that they also had a wide range of seasonal puzzles

I was really excited to go to this bookstore today as the last time we were in Holland they were closed at the hours we were there. We went back today with our kids, excited to support a local book store. Up until check out we had a great experience perusing books. We got my kids each a book and my husband a book. I expected to be treated at least somewhat pleasantly when we checked out but we were kinder than the cashier. She was very curt to us and snippy with my husband while he was trying to be pleasant. I asked him before we went if he wanted to go to Barnes and Noble or Readers World and he said readers world. I’ve never spent nearly $40 at Barnes and Noble and been treated poorly. I’d rate lower but I don’t think the woman behind the counter is the owner and I don’t want to rate a business terrible because of one employee but it was a huge disappointment and I wish we would have spent our money (which everyone is struggling for right now) somewhere else.

Rating poorly because the woman running the register was just plain **unpleasant**. Cared more about looking at Heidi Klums costume on her phone than she did saying hello when we entered, or being even slightly pleasant at any point in time while we were in. Even blew the easiest part of customer interaction when she handed me my books and I said "thank you!" and her answer was "yup." The whole time she just seemed like she couldn't wait to get us out of the store. Felt unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Won't be back.

Love this indie book store so much! They’ve always been friendly to me, and usually always have what i’m looking for, or helped me find it 💛
