We are a locally-owned independent bookstore serving the West Michigan Lakeshore 7 days a week. We carry mostly new (some used) books, magazines, and newspapers as well as a variety of gift items, toys, and games. We have an adorable children's room, meeting space (including a stage), and offer a variety of free public events throughout the year. We are proud to be an iconic hub for literary-minded folks in our community.

Lovely book shop with a large selection of books, magazines, some toys and jigsaws as well as other gifts and novelties. We came in specifically for Barbara Bull titles and they had every one in stock. I loved the little quirky touches that decorated various parts of the store and the art paintings on the wall that were also for sale. Lovely lady at the counter was very helpful too.

One of my favorite bookstores of all time! Constantly rotating selection of different books from a huge variety of genres and all the things a book nerd may need. If they don't have it they will happily order it in. One of my must stops when back in GH!

Do not come here. Very rude staff. I smiled, I waved, but they did not even acknowledge my presence. I am very disappointed. They even had an old piano with a signing saying “play me” ! It was very old and out of tune.. keys stuck badly. Overall they have a bad selection of books. Please. Save your time and do not come here.

So glad we got to stop in while waiting for our table at the cafe next door. The selection was great - the new releases prominently displayed in addition to a nice used section on the wall in back. Also, it is not overpriced! They sell the books at the price set on the back of the book so they can make a profit because they are an indie bookstore. It’s good to support these places! They are not trying to rip you off but giving you a personal experience others can’t. And they even have a bookstore cat!
