Sherman's Books & Stationery (Portland)

We had to stop by Maine’s oldest bookstore on our visit to Maine! Sherman’s is fantastic, with tons of books and tons of book suggestions if you’re not sure what to get! In addition to books there were plenty of gift items and an incredible pen section.

Nice to see and be in a book store that has been around for so long. Good salections for books and lots of other items.

📚Lovely Bookshop - More than Just Books!📚 This bookshop is bigger than it looks! Genres are clearly marked by sections (everything from manga and D&D, to bargain books and adult nonfiction). There's a nice selection of cards, as well as gifts and toys for sale. The inside is quite literally wall-to-wall bookshelves, with books towering overhead. Any bibliophile will feel quite at home here and be able to spend a fair amount of time browsing. If you're visiting Portland, you can get a great souvenir (or commute-home book).

Charming little bookshop chain in Maine! Went in for one book and left with a bag full of items for myself and others. Very cozy vibes! Definitely check this place out if you're in town.
