Today was my first time visiting Green Hand Bookshop and it won't be my last. This is Heaven on earth for book lovers. Huge selection of horror, sci-fi, mystery, and fantasy genres. The type of store you look forward to losing yourself within. Great prices. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. A must-visit when in Portland, ME!

This is the best book store I've been to in many years! They have a great selection of older hardcover books and a killer sci-fi/horror/occult section! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and is very passionate about collectibles books!

My favorite bookshop I have been in and such wonderful service! Was visiting from out of town and made a stop here deliberately for the Stephen King selection and was not disappointed. Look forward to coming back on my next trip.

So many amazing books to browse, so many unique collectible books! Seriously go get lost in the stacks. Wonderful balance of old, rare, hard-to-find books as well as new publications. Very good selection of tarot decks too!

Great selection of many genres, particularly fantasy, horror, and occult. The shelves are stacked high, and I could have happily browsed for hours if I'd had the time. -1 star for the used books being a bit overpriced.
