Sherman's of Falmouth

This is the cutest little book shop and they have such a wide selection to choose from!!! From children's to classics to romance to non-fiction to Portland-focused historical/geographical books, any reader could find joy in the pages fostered within these walls. Not to mention - there are trinkets, gifts, utensils, and treats galore! The staff was also super nice and helpful, which always makes a big difference. We've only been visiting the Portland area for a couple weeks and we've already been there 3 times, and we'd love to go back again!

I can't begin to tell you how much we, the residents of Falmouth, are all loving your new store. SO many people are very excited that you are here in our town. I needed art supplies today and VOILA, you had EVERYTHING that I needed. Your gifts are unique, your prices are very reasonable and we hope that you stay with us forever!!! Thank you for being the kind of store that we needed here in our town.

Nice place but customer greeting and service is not their thing. I was the only one in the store for 30 minutes at least, browsing and choosing two books. I was ignored while the two employees talked non-stop to each other. No greeting or asking if I needed assistance. They were both nice when I approached to checkout. But it wasn't until I wanted to spend my money that I became seen. Left me with a bad taste for such a nice store.

Great place to get some unique gifts, young and old. Small but good book collection. Will definitely be revisiting for birthdays and other occasions.
