Beautiful shop full of literature unique to the area & up north in general. Entire section devoted to indigenous people's stories & published works. Be sure to check out the art from local artists, too!

Had several hours while in port at Skagway and while thoroughly touring Skaguay, I stopped in, sat in a corner and found several treasures. Brought home gift books for all ages and some educational materials for myself and my students. Thanks for the great selection and patiently letting me browse.

Absolutely adored this store! Local and indigenous authors, but also very current and popular titles. Loved every minute here!

Stopped in for a book on the native plants in Northeast Alaska and they had exactly what I was looking for. The lady was very kind and recommend a couple other books that I couldn't pass up. They also occasionally have book signings here so keep an eye out for that!
