We are a small store that focuses on religious and spiritual books and resources in both fiction and non-fiction genres. We carry Episcopal resources such as prayer books, hymnals, Bibles and gift items. We supply books to the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Tx. and for their various community outreach, classes, and events. Reading material is carefully chosen to support literary interests, spiritual needs, and religious learning efforts in our wider community. All are welcome to attend any event or class.

It's a beautiful church, and the lady working in the office was very helpful. We just wanted to come appreciate the architecture and some of the history. This church used to sit on the grounds of the Alamo, and began construction under Robert E. Lee. Being a history buff, I was astonished that the bell was actually constructed from a 6 pound bronze cannon from the Battle of Gonzales. Potentially THE "Come and Take it" cannon, as the other was said to be a one pounder.

St.Mark's is a wonderful church located in the heart of San Antonio. The architecture by itself would be enough of a reason just to visit, but as most churches it's the people who make this place truly special, they are warm and inviting, and consist from all walks of life. The sermons are thought provoking and inspiring, and the choir, well, heavenly. I attend this church, and I am a better person for it.

I was raised Catholic and would consider myself to be religious. St. Mark’s Episcopal follows the doctrine of the church, but is progressive with its teachings and truly exemplifies what it means to be a Christian. The music is beautiful, and comparable to what one would find at a cathedral in England! If you’re wanting a traditional service with a forward emphasis, along with gorgeous music, I would strongly recommend coming to this church!

Both parents entombed there in the wall. Gorgeous as they look out on Travis park.. st. Marks did a wonderful job on the service for my parents. Very professional and kind.

My daughter attended the Parent's Day Out Program and loved it! The staff is amazing, caring and very loving to all the kids. I loved it when my daughter would come home and recite the Lords Prayer on her own and sing songs about Jesus! The only reason we discontinued attending was because we had to move from San Antonio. I highly recommend getting your kids involved in this program.
